To stay true to our mission, we’ve remained focused on sourcing the best ingredients. We have 
fostered relationships with incredible partners who bring us sustainable flour, real butter, and
responsibly sourced meats. We use premium ingredients such as American milled flour, American
Dairy, cage-free eggs, and NAE (no antibiotics ever) poultry.

    Quality flour is the backbone of our business and excellent flour makes all the difference. We’ve been proudly partnering with Central Milling in Logan, UT for many years. Central Milling is the best organic flour miller in the united states, operating since 1867. Their mission is to preserve American farmland for tomorrow while providing the highest quality flour and grains to the bakers of today.

Our incredibly talented bakers and product creators are true experts in their field, bringing creativity and precision to every creation. Whether it's the pillowy butter brioche, the flaky perfection of laminated dough, the adherence to quality standards, and food safety, each item reflects the passion and skill that defines La Boulangerie and Shaw Bakers.

    Our bakery was founded in the age-old French tradition of making beautiful food by hand. We combined this with California sensibility and sourcing to bring you little moments of luxe, whether you are in one of our cafes or at home. Since our humble beginnings on Fillmore street in San Francisco, we bake everything with love and joy, and - in the very best of French traditions - plenty of pure butter.
